TEMPLEOGUE CLUBHOUSE DEVELOPMENT RAFFLE  2024

SUNDAY 27th OCTOBER 2024 - MAIN DRAW

The new development at TUFC will consist of state of the art unisex dressing room facilities with showers and toilets within the main changing rooms. Our general toilet facilities are being completely rebuilt to comply with the latest building regulations and specifications. We will now have a small canteen area for coaches and referees to make refreshments on match day or training. The entrance lobby will be completely demolished and will now cater for an open area for public/club mingling where people can sit and relax at their leisure.

On the right-hand side, we are carrying out a complete demolition and creating an 85 sq mtr open matted gym/ warm-up area with full wheelchair access toilet and shower facilities. To the back of this area, we are extending out of the back of the building to accommodate an indoor astro facility for training and technical drills. Above this area, we will have a new viewing area overlooking the All Weather Pitch that will be accessed from the bar or through a new staircase to the rear. Once the works are completed, the outside footpaths, steps, etc. will be fully wheelchair compliant, and we expect a finish date of of October 2024.

"This Project is going to cost in excess of €500,000. Thanks to the amazing support of the capital sports grant, we were awarded €150,000 for this project, but we need to raise significant funds to ensure we can continue to offer all our members the best facilities possible. This is the next step after delivering pitch 23 and our co-investment in the resurfacing of the All Weather Pitch with our neighbours and partners, St. Judes.
